Hi. I am passionate about Mid Century Modern,Retro, and Danish Modern Furniture, Wall Decor, and Home accessories. I always enjoyed looking for treasures. I found that my eyes were always drawn to mid century modern and Danish Modern furniture and decorative items. I started buying it and couldn't stop so I am now buying it and selling it. I am now decorating my own home in Mid Century Modern Furniture and Wall Decor because...Well... I love it and because much of what I buy, I can't seem to part with. With today's hectic pace, the simple lines in the furniture that I am drawn to calms me. Knowing that I have found a beautiful vintage piece of furniture that I saved from slaughter inspires me. The often heard saying really rings true..."they just don't make furniture the way they used to"!
I go all over in hopes that I will come across another great find. I will go to Detroit or Minneapolis if I see something that really catches my eye. Funny, I grew up with this stuff and hated it.
Now, I am truly appreciating the clean lines and the simplicity, yet solid construction that most of the mid century furniture can lay claim to. Lets face it, what I am selling is from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Most of this had to be made pretty darn well or it wouldn't still be around. This stuff truly has stood the test of time.
